<strong>Position Available:</strong> November 2010</p>
<div><strong>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></div>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Hiring and Training of all Food &amp; Beverages Servers, Cashiers and Bartenders. </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Maintaining labor costs and budget goals. </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Fulfilling the service per each Banquet Event Orders (BEO) or Concession Event Order (CEO). </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Attend in-house event-related meetings and relays immediate changes with other departments. </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Maintaining all Banquet equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance. </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Maintain a Health Department score of 90 or higher. </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Maintain NCABC &#8211; TIPs certification </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Must be creative in designing tablescapes, room layout, buffets and coffee break décor. </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service is a must </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Position is very hands on with excessive interaction with clients during events. </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Ordering linen and maintaining uniforms. </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Inventory Control beverages banquet/concession equipment. </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Beverage Inventory, ordering, receiving and controls. </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Payroll </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Cash Handling and reconciliation in conjunction with finance department </strong><strong> </strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p>Other duties as assigned and assist other departments as needed.</p>

<li><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Supervises all hourly F&amp;B Staff </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Supervises and trains Interns </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Oversees Bartender Staff </strong><strong> </strong></li>
<li><strong>Daily contact with the Food &amp; Beverage Director, Catering Manager, Executive Chef, and other convention center employees.<strong> </strong> </strong><strong> </strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong><strong> </strong></strong></p>
<p>Training of all Concessions and Banquet employees</p>

<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p>This position requires minimal stooping and lifting. Substantial walking and manual dexterity to operate office equipment such as a computer is required.</p>

<div><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</strong></div>

<ul>
<li>At least four years of management experience in a banquet facility servicing meals for large events.</li>
<li>Advanced oral and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the facility.</li>
<li>Results oriented individual with the ability to meet required budgetary goals.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and inter-personal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.</li>
<li>Computer skills to include Excel programs.</li>
<li>Serve-safe certified</li>
<li>Ability to be creative with buffet presentations and maintain a quality product.</li>
<li>Attention to detail and service oriented.</li>
