Built with green in mind from the ground up
Wilmington’s commitment to a sustainable environment can be seen throughout the new Wilmington Convention Center. Even before the first shovel broke ground, a sand filtration system was installed to prevent runoff into the Cape Fear River. What is evolving from the drawing table is an eco-friendly building, pending LEED Certification, that adds function and aesthetics to blend into Historic Downtown Wilmington.
All in all, the Wilmington Convention Center will appeal to your environmental sense as much as your business sense.
