Chef Scott Frazzetta and his team showcased their culinary skills and won three top awards at the August 22, 2013 Epicurean Evening Chefs Competition. Awards included: Best in Taste, Best Appetizer and Best in Show and took home the evening’s highest recognition; the esteemed Copper Kettle Award. The annual area food competition, organized by the NC Methodist Home for Children, has also been hosted in the Wilmington Convention Center since 2011. The 2013 event was the largest audience thus far with over 500 guests present. The competition is a blind taste test by area judges selected for their culinary enthusiasm and knowledge. We salute Chef Frazzetta and leadership for this notable achievement.
